History

JunkBelly's roots trace back through singer and lead guitar player, Wayne Evans. Wayne was the founding member of The Boogie Monsters in Reno, NV. After conquering the Reno scene, he moved the band to Austin, TX where they played many of the classic Austin venues and did some touring. With The Boogie Monsters, Wayne has graced the stage with such classic acts as the Fabulous Thunderbirds, Tommy Castro, Booker T Jones, Dick Dale, and many more. In 2008 Wayne moved to Wenatchee WA for family reasons and since has assembled some local heavy hitting musicians to form the valley's newest pop rockin blues band: JunkBelly.

 

Music

JunkBelly is a band of seasoned musicians who have made their individual trips around the block but still have the passion for music and the experience to know what they want from it. JunkBelly is a blues based pop/rock band that features original tunes that reflect influences such as The Allman Brothers Band, Ben Harper, Funk Brothers, SRV and Santana. A JunkBelly show will also surprise with deep cut covers and fresh new takes on classic favorites. These guys are in it to make music and leave the fluff to the pretty boys. Come and get some JunkBelly!

About

The Rhythms on the Lake Music Fest & Wine Walk, hosted by the Lake Chelan Chamber of Commerce, brings together visitors and the Lake Chelan community through an event that celebrates the freedom of expression inherent in music. Set against the backdrop of Lake Chelan, this all-ages, two-day music festival showcases renowned and emerging artists on multiple outdoor stages in downtown Chelan, select Wineries, and other local businesses during the Wine Walk.
